The Glenvar Highlanders volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Floyd County Buffaloes to 1 in the Highlanders league triumph on Tuesday.
The Highlanders now have a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Martinsville for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 2. Glenvar will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Radford (Radford, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-4.
The Buffaloes (6-6) will now prepare for their game against Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Colonels go into the non-league game with a 1-11 record. In their last game, Fleming was edged by Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
