The Gilroy Mustangs volleyball squad (Gilroy, CA), was defeated 2-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Prospect Panthers (Saratoga, CA)

The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Pioneer (San Jose, CA). The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Pioneer achieved victory over Gunderson (San Jose, CA), 2-0, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Willow Glen for a test on Thursday, October 2. Gilroy will face a Rams squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Prospect (Saratoga, CA). The Rams record now stands at 3-1.
