Virginia High School Volleyball - Gloucester New Kent

The New Kent Trojans prevailed the visiting Gloucester Dukes volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Trojans now possess a 11-0 record. They take the field next when they host Poquoson for a non-league match on Thursday, October 2. New Kent will clash with a Islanders team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over York (Yorktown, VA). The Islanders record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Gloucester drops to 0-8 on the campaign. The Dukes host Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league match on Wednesday, October 1. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 7-2. Jamestown won 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Tabb (Yorktown, VA)
