In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Greene Central Rams volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Kinston Vikings.

The Rams (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, Ayden - Grifton gained a win over Beddingfield (Wilson, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Vikings now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Farmville Central for a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. Kinston will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 16-1.
