In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Heide Trask Titans volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the South Lenoir Blue Devils.

With the win, Heide Trask improves its record to 10-6 on the season. The Titans travel to East Duplin (Beulaville, NC) to face the Panthers in a test on Thursday, October 2. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 17-2. East Duplin won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC)

The Blue Devils now own a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clinton for a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. South Lenoir will play a Dark Horses team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Pender (Burgaw, NC). The Dark Horses record now stands at 10-4.
