Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Centennial Eagles (Gresham, OR) and the visiting Canby Cougars (Canby, OR), saw Centennial's soccer squad knock off Canby by a count of 5-3.
The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Parkrose (Portland, OR). The Broncos come into the 5A Northwest Oregon match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Parkrose nipped Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts (Milwaukie, OR), 2-1, in a league match.
The Cougars now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilsonville for a 5A Northwest Oregon match on Thursday, October 2. Canby will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 0-0 league Hood River Valley (Hood River, OR). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-1.
