Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their soccer squad overwhelm the visiting Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY), 12-0 in a non-league outing.
The Colonels (11-7) will now prepare for their outing against Perry County Central (Hazard, KY). The Commodores go into the non-league outing with a 5-12 record.
Next up, the Black Bears confront the Letcher County Central Cougars (Whitesburg, KY) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, October 2. Harlan County will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Cougars go into the outing with a 13-10 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY).
