The Kankakee Kays smashed the visiting Rich Township Raptors soccer team by a tally of 9-0 in Tuesday's league game.
Next, the Kays face the Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish (Kankakee, IL) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, October 1. Kankakee will attempt to advance on its 9-6 season record. The Fightin' Irish come into the game with a 0-16 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to St. Anne (St. Anne, IL).
The Raptors (7-9) will now prepare for their bout against Thornton (Harvey, IL). The Wildcats go into the SICA bout with a 7-6 record. In their last bout, Thornton thwarted Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL), 5-3, in a non-league bout.
