The New Garden Friends Bears (Greensboro, NC) soccer overwhelmed the host Lee Christian Falcons (Sanford, NC), 9-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Bears now hold a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cape Fear Christian Academy for a NCISAA Mid-Carolina challenge on Friday, October 3. New Garden Friends will battle a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Neuse Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 7-2.
The Falcons (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Crossroads Christian (Henderson, NC). The Colts enter the NCISAA Mid-Carolina contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Crossroads Christian beat New Garden Friends (Greensboro, NC), 6-1, in a league contest.
