Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA) and the host West Allegheny Indians (Imperial, PA), saw Moon Area's soccer squad hold off West Allegheny by a count of 2-1.

The Tigers (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA). The Chargers enter the non-league match with a 10-1 record.

The Indians now sport a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shady Side Academy for a non-league match on Saturday, October 4. West Allegheny will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 9-1 league win over Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-4.
