Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Berry Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), saw Olympic's soccer squad knock off Berry by a count of 3-0.
The Trojans (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Vikings enter the Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A battle with a 1-11 record. In their last battle, Central Cabarrus by Cox Mill (Concord, NC), 6-0, in a league match.
The Cardinals now sport a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host Hickory Ridge for a Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A match on Thursday, October 2. Berry will meet a Ragin' Bulls team coming off a 1-0 league win over A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Ragin' Bulls record now stands at 9-2.
