The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA) and the host Berrien Rebels (Nashville, GA), observed Brantley County's softball team notch a victory over Berrien by a tally of 13-3.

The Herons (17-8) will now prepare for their bout against Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA). The Terrors go into the non-league bout with a 21-5 record. In their last bout, Glynn Academy topped Lakeside (Evans, GA), 10-6, in a non-league contest.

The Rebels now hold a 10-15 record. They play next when they host Cook for a non-league contest on Wednesday, October 1. Berrien will face a Hornets squad coming off a 6-2 league loss to Pierce County (Blackshear, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 18-3.
