The Westfield School Hornets triumphed over the host Brookstone Cougars softball team by a margin of 10-3 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Hornets now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calvary Christian for a GIAA Class AAA & AAAA District 5 battle on Thursday, October 2. Westfield School will confront a Knights team coming off a 5-3 league loss to Strong Rock Christian (Locust Grove, GA). The Knights record now stands at 16-2.

With the loss, Brookstone drops to 7-7 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Shaw (Columbus, GA) to meet the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Monday, October 6. The Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 15-9. Shaw won 17-0 in their recent league challenge against Jordan (Columbus, GA)
