Missouri High School Softball - Sikeston bested by Fredericktown

The Fredericktown Black Cats triumphed over the visiting Sikeston Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 14-4 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Black Cats meet the St. Pius X Lancers (Festus, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 1. Fredericktown will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Lancers enter the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 10-2 non-league loss to Lutheran South (St. Louis, MO).

The Bulldogs (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Doniphan (Doniphan, MO). The Dons enter the non-league challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Doniphan overcame Van Buren (Van Buren, MO), 10-0, in a non-league challenge.
