The Woodward Boomers softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Guymon Tigers to 4 in the Boomers non-league win on Tuesday.

The Boomers now possess a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount St. Mary for a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 1. Woodward will confront a Rockets team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Pauls Valley (Pauls Valley, OK). The Rockets record now stands at 6-12.

With the loss, Guymon moves to 10-18 on the season. The Tigers travel to Elk City (Elk City, OK) to confront the Elks in a non-league battle on Monday, October 6. The Elks come into the battle with a record of 26-3. Elk City won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Altus (Altus, OK)
