Georgia High School Softball - Hillgrove bounces Paulding County

September 30, 2025: Powder Springs, GA 30127

In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Hillgrove Hawks softball squad scored a close 4-0 triumph over the Paulding County Patriots.

Next, the Hawks play the Harrison Hoyas (Kennesaw, GA) in a 6A Region 3 challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Hillgrove will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Hoyas enter the challenge with a 21-4 record after their 16-1 league win over McEachern (Powder Springs, GA).

With the loss, Paulding County moves to 12-11 on the season. The Patriots host Campbell (Smyrna, GA) to confront the Spartans in a 6A Region 3 battle on Thursday, October 2. The Spartans come into the battle with a record of 9-12. Campbell won 20-1 in their recent league battle against Osborne (Marietta, GA)
