Georgia High School Softball - Screven County bounces McIntosh County Academy

The Screven County Gamecocks (Sylvania, GA) softball routed the visiting McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA), 15-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Gamecocks now sport a 10-10 record. They take the field next when they host Burke County for a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. Screven County will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 19-9 non-league win over Hephzibah (Hephzibah, GA). The Bears record now stands at 13-10.

The Buccaneers (9-19) will now prepare for their test against Treutlen (Soperton, GA). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 14-4 record. In their last test, Treutlen prevailed over Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA), 18-1, in a non-league test.
