The Northside Patriots softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Starr's Mill Panthers to 3 in the Patriots league win on Tuesday.
The Patriots now sport a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Veterans for a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 1. Northside will confront a Warhawks team coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA). The Warhawks record now stands at 21-4.
With the loss, Starr's Mill moves to 16-9 on the season. The Panthers host Newnan (Newnan, GA) to meet the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 1. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 11-15. Newnan won 15-1 in their recent league challenge against Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA)
