Georgia High School Softball - Rockmart bounces Ringgold

In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Rockmart Yellowjackets softball team scored a nice 13-5 win over the Ringgold Tigers.

The Yellowjackets (18-5) will now prepare for their match against Murray County (Chatsworth, GA). The Indians come into the 2A Region 7 match with a 7-14 record. In their last match, Murray County notched a victory over Union County (Blairsville, GA), 3-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Sonoraville Phoenix (Calhoun, GA) in a 2A Region 7 match, on Monday, October 6. Ringgold will attempt to better on its 5-15 season record. The Phoenix come into the match with a 22-5 record after their 13-0 league win over Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (Fort Oglethorpe, GA).
