Georgia High School Softball - Ware County succumbs to Wayne County

In Tuesday's league contest, the Wayne County Yellow Jackets (Jesup, GA) softball squad triumphed over the host Ware County Gators (Waycross, GA), by a tally of 16-2.
The Yellow Jackets (18-5) will now prepare for their bout against Effingham County (Springfield, GA). The Rebels go into the non-league bout with a 20-6 record. In their last bout, Effingham County knocked off Statesboro (Statesboro, GA), 15-0, in a non-league bout.
Next up, the Gators face the Charlton County Indians (Folkston, GA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 2. Ware County will attempt to improve on its 5-18 season record. The Indians enter the contest with a 12-11 record after their 11-1 league loss to Irwin County (Ocilla, GA).
