The Antelopes now possess a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Tahoka for a 2A Region I District 2 bout on Saturday, October 4. Abernathy will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Ropes (Ropesville, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-24.

With the loss, Post drops to 12-14 on the campaign. The Antelopes travel to Olton (Olton, TX) to battle the Mustangs in a 2A Region I District 2 match on Thursday, October 2. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 11-16. Olton lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Plains (Plains, TX)
