Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Graford Rabbits (Graford, TX) and the visiting Alvord Bulldogs (Alvord, TX), observed Graford's volleyball team hold off Alvord by a count of 3-2.

The Rabbits (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Poolville (Poolville, TX). The Monarchs enter the 2A Region II District 9 contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Poolville got by Chico (Chico, TX), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Bulldogs battle the Lipan Indians (Lipan, TX) in a contest, on Friday, October 3. Alvord will attempt to move on its 8-16 season record. The Indians enter the contest with a 9-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lindsay (Lindsay, TX).
