Texas High School Volleyball - Hardin over Anahuac

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Hardin Hornets (Hardin, TX) and the visiting Anahuac Panthers (Anahuac, TX), observed Hardin's volleyball team top Anahuac by a tally of 3-0.

The Hornets (14-14) will now prepare for their contest against East Chambers (Winnie, TX). The Buccaneers enter the 3A Region III District 22 contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, East Chambers was beaten by Kirbyville (Kirbyville, TX), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Panthers meet the Orangefield Bobcats (Orangefield, TX) in a 3A Region III District 22 contest, on Friday, October 3. Anahuac will attempt to upgrade on its 9-27 season record. The Bobcats enter the contest with a 16-19 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Non Varsity Opponent (, ).
