North Carolina High School Volleyball - Murphy can't get by Andrews

The Andrews Wildcats nudged the host Murphy Bulldogs volleyball team by a margin of 3-2 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Wildcats now possess a 10-9 record. They play next when they host Swain County for a Smoky Mountain 1A/2A outing on Thursday, October 2. Andrews will play a Maroon Devils team coming off a 3-1 league win over Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC). The Maroon Devils record now stands at 9-8.

With the defeat, Murphy falls to 8-9 on the year. The Bulldogs host Highlands (Highlands, NC) to confront the Highlanders in a non-league game on Thursday, October 2. The Highlanders enter the game with a record of 5-11. Highlands won 3-1 in their recent non-league game against Summit Charter (Cashiers, NC)
