Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Appomattox County upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Raiders host William Campbell (Naruna, VA) to face the Generals in a Dogwood challenge on Thursday, October 2. The Generals come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. William Campbell lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Dan River (Ringgold, VA)
Next, the Cavaliers play the Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA) in a Dogwood challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Chatham will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Governors come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Gretna (Gretna, VA).
