The Batesville Pioneers topped the visiting West Memphis Blue Devils volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Pioneers face the Marion Patriots (Marion, AR) in a 5A East game, on Thursday, October 2. Batesville will attempt to advance on its 7-8 season record. The Patriots go into the game with a 17-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Nettleton (Jonesboro, AR).

With the loss, West Memphis drops to 0-9 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Mountain Home (Mountain Home, AR) to play the Bombers in a 5A East outing on Thursday, October 2. The Bombers come into the outing with a record of 7-8. Mountain Home lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR)
