Michigan High School Volleyball - Big Rapids edged by Tri County Area

September 30, 2025: Big Rapids, MI 49307

Tri County Area Vikings (Howard City, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Big Rapids Cardinals (Big Rapids, MI), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Tri County Area upgrades its record to 5-10 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Kenowa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI) to meet the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 2. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 2-13. Kenowa Hills lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Coopersville (Coopersville, MI)

Next, the Cardinals meet the Reed City Coyotes (Reed City, MI) in a Central State challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Big Rapids will attempt to upgrade on its 7-16 season record.
