Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Handley Judges (Winchester, VA) and the host Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA), observed Handley's volleyball team top Brentsville District by a count of 3-0.

The Judges (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Bealeton, VA). The Eagles enter the Northwestern contest with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Liberty dropped by Millbrook (Winchester, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Tigers now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fauquier for a Northwestern battle on Wednesday, October 1. Brentsville District will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Sherando (Stephens City, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 6-7.
