The Padres (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pacific Grove (Pacific Grove, CA). The Breakers enter the Pacific Coast - Gabilan challenge with a 12-4 record. In their last challenge, Pacific Grove beat Hollister (Hollister, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Salinas Cowboys (Salinas, CA) in a Pacific Coast - Gabilan challenge, on Thursday, October 2. King City will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Santa Catalina (Monterey, CA).
