With the win, Laker improves its record to 12-10 on the season. The Lakers host Bad Axe (Bad Axe, MI) to face the Hatchets in a Greater Thumb - West test on Tuesday, October 7. The Hatchets go into the test with a record of 13-5.

The Tigers now own a 0-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whittemore-Prescott for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 1. Caro will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Rogers City (Rogers City, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-13.
