The Western Albemarle Warriors prevailed the host Charlottesville Black Knights volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Warriors now possess a 12-4 record. They play next when they host Orange County for a Jefferson bout on Thursday, October 2. Western Albemarle will confront a Fighting Hornets team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Louisa County (Mineral, VA). The Fighting Hornets record now stands at 0-13.

With the loss, Charlottesville drops to 2-10 on the campaign. The Black knights host Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to clash with the Flying Flucos in a Jefferson bout on Thursday, October 2. The Flying Flucos come into the bout with a record of 14-2. Fluvanna County won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA)
