Texas High School Volleyball - Clifton over Whitney

The Clifton Cubs (Clifton, TX) volleyball knocked off the visiting Whitney Wildcats (Whitney, TX), 3-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Cubs now possess a 29-6 record. They play next when they host Troy for a 3A Region III District 17 bout on Friday, October 3. Clifton will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 3-1 league win over West (West, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 18-9.

With the loss, Whitney drops to 7-12 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Troy (Troy, TX) to battle the Trojans in a 3A Region III District 17 contest on Tuesday, October 7. The Trojans enter the contest with a record of 18-9.
