In Tuesday's league match, the Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the host Pender Patriots (Burgaw, NC), by a final score of 3-0.

Next up, the Dark Horses confront the South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC) in a East Central 3A/4A match, on Thursday, October 2. Clinton will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a 3-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC).

With the loss, Pender drops to 4-13 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC) to clash with the Stallions in a East Central 3A/4A bout on Thursday, October 2.
