North Carolina High School Volleyball - Concord can't hold off Salisbury

September 30, 2025: Salisbury, NC 28144

In Tuesday's league match, the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) volleyball team held off the visiting Concord Spiders (Concord, NC), by a margin of 3-2.

The Hornets now possess a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to East Rowan for a South Piedmont 4A/5A bout on Thursday, October 2. Salisbury will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-10.

With the loss, Concord drops to 9-9 on the campaign. The Spiders travel to A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC) to battle the Wonders in a non-league contest on Wednesday, October 1. The Wonders enter the contest with a record of 10-8. A.L. Brown won 3-1 in their recent league contest against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC)
