Texas High School Volleyball - Robinson over Connally

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Robinson Rockets (Robinson, TX) and the host Connally Cadets (Waco, TX), observed Robinson's volleyball team overcome Connally by a tally of 3-0.

The Rockets (20-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Gatesville (Gatesville, TX). The Hornets come into the 4A Region III District 23 challenge with a 24-7 record. In their last challenge, Gatesville was beaten by Lorena (Lorena, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cadets meet the La Vega Pirates (Waco, TX) in a 4A Region III District 23 challenge, on Friday, October 3. Connally will attempt to upgrade on its 11-19 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 17-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to China Spring (China Spring, TX).
