In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Evadale Rebels volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Deweyville Pirates.
The Rebels (7-19) will now prepare for their challenge against Sabine Pass (Sabine Pass, TX). The Sharks come into the 2A Region III District 24 challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Sabine Pass was beaten by West Hardin (Saratoga, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Pirates meet the Danbury Panthers (Danbury, TX) in a 2A Region III District 24 challenge, on Friday, October 3. Deweyville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 18-11 record after their 3-0 league win over Evadale (Evadale, TX).
