In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mason Classical Academy Paladins volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Donahue Catholic Shamrocks.

The Paladins (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Everglades City (Everglades City, FL). The Gators go into the 1A District 12 test with a 10-2 record. In their last test, Everglades City nudged Naples Classical (Naples, FL), 3-0, in a league test.

The Shamrocks now own a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Naples Classical for a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. Donahue Catholic will face a Academy squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Everglades City (Everglades City, FL). The Academy record now stands at 0-12.
