Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Dougherty Valley Wildcats (San Ramon, CA) and the host Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA), observed Dougherty Valley's volleyball team top Granada by a tally of 3-0.

The Wildcats (12-11) will now prepare for their test against California (San Ramon, CA). The Grizzlies go into the East Bay test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, California was defeated by Carondelet (Concord, CA), 3-1, in a league test.

The Matadors now own a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monte Vista for a East Bay challenge on Thursday, October 2. Granada will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Livermore (Livermore, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 16-6.
