North Carolina High School Volleyball - Draughn over Hibriten

The Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) volleyball knocked off the host Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC), 3-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 13-5 record. They play next when they host West Caldwell for a Western Piedmont 3A/4A bout on Thursday, October 2. Draughn will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Patton (Morganton, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 4-14.

With the loss, Hibriten drops to 5-14 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC) to battle the Hilltoppers in a Western Piedmont 3A/4A contest on Thursday, October 2. The Hilltoppers enter the contest with a record of 12-10. R-S Central won 3-0 in their recent league contest against East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC)
