Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the East Jordan Red Devils (East Jordan, MI) and the host Mancelona Ironmen (Mancelona, MI), observed East Jordan's volleyball team top Mancelona by a count of 3-0.

The Red Devils (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Forest Area (Fife Lake, MI). The Warriors go into the non-league battle with a 0-11 record. In their last battle, Forest Area dropped by Inland Lakes (Indian River, MI), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Ironmen now own a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Mary Cathedral for a Ski-Valley battle on Thursday, October 2. Mancelona will meet a Snowbirds team coming off a 3-2 league win over Bellaire (Bellaire, MI). The Snowbirds record now stands at 8-4.
