Wisconsin High School Volleyball - Newman Catholic Edgar

Edgar Wildcats (Edgar, WI) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Newman Catholic Fighting Cardinals (Wausau, WI), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Edgar improves its record to 18-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Hudson (Hudson, WI) to face the Raiders in a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 14-4. Hudson lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against River Falls (River Falls, WI)

Next, the Fighting Cardinals meet the Stratford Tigers (Stratford, WI) in a Marawood - South challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Newman Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 17-15 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 16-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Hudson (Hudson, WI).
