Kansas High School Volleyball - Smith Center tips Ellis

The Smith Center Redmen (Smith Center, KS) volleyball held off the visiting Ellis Railroaders (Ellis, KS), 2-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Redmen now possess a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Republic County for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 2. Smith Center will confront a Buffaloes squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Blue Valley (Randolph, KS). The Buffaloes record now stands at 7-15.

The Railroaders (6-12) will now prepare for their match against Victoria (Victoria, KS). The Knights enter the non-league match with a 16-2 record. In their last match, Victoria was tipped by St. John (St. John, KS), 2-0, in a league match.
