In Tuesday's league bout, the Laurens Raiders (Laurens, SC) volleyball team held off the visiting Fountain Inn Fury (Fountain Inn, SC), by a margin of 3-2.

The Raiders now possess a 5-12 record. They play next when they host Southside for a AAAA Region 1 bout on Thursday, October 2. Laurens will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Westside (Anderson, SC). The Tigers record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Fountain Inn drops to 5-12 on the campaign. The Fury host Wren (Piedmont, SC) to clash with the Hurricanes in a AAAA Region 1 bout on Thursday, October 2. The Hurricanes enter the match with a record of 22-6. Wren won 3-0 in their recent league match against Emerald (Greenwood, SC)
