Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Patrick Henry Patriots (Ashland, VA) and the visiting Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA), saw Patrick Henry's volleyball squad notch a victory over Freeman by a score of 3-0.
With the win, Patrick Henry improves its record to 7-8 on the season. The Patriots travel to Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA) to encounter the Raiders in a Capital battle on Thursday, October 2. The Raiders go into the battle with a record of 8-0. Atlee won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Powhatan (Powhatan, VA)
The Mavericks now own a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to J.R. Tucker for a Colonial battle on Tuesday, October 7. Freeman will battle a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-5.
