The George West Longhorns volleyball squad (George West, TX), dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX)

With the win, Taft improves its record to 12-5 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Odem (Odem, TX) to encounter the Owls in a 3A Region IV District 29 battle on Friday, October 3. The Owls go into the battle with a record of 7-10. Odem won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Mathis (Mathis, TX)
