The Greene Central Rams topped the visiting Kinston Vikings volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.
Next up, the Rams confront the Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC) in a Eastern Plains 2A/3A game, on Thursday, October 2. Greene Central will attempt to advance on its 11-8 season record. The Chargers go into the game with a 16-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Beddingfield (Wilson, NC).
The Vikings (1-13) will now prepare for their game against Farmville Central (Farmville, NC). The Jaguars go into the Eastern Plains 2A/3A outing with a 16-1 record. In their last outing, Farmville Central defeated SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
