The Ospreys enter the contest with a record of 0-6. Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Dan River (Ringgold, VA)

Next, the Governors meet the Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA) in a Dogwood challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Nelson County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA).
