The Grundy Golden Wave were victorious over the host Hurley Rebels volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Golden Wave now possess a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Richlands for a non-league bout on Monday, October 6. Grundy will clash with a Blue Tornado team coming off a 3-1 league win over Graham (Bluefield, VA). The Blue Tornado record now stands at 6-8.
The Rebels (0-9) will now prepare for their match against Council (Council, VA). The Cobras enter the Black Diamond match with a 2-8 record.
