Kansas High School Volleyball - Hoisington tips Halstead

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Hoisington Cardinals (Hoisington, KS) and the host Halstead Dragons (Halstead, KS), observed Hoisington's volleyball team hold off Halstead by a count of 2-1.

The Cardinals (23-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hill City (Hill City, KS). The Ringnecks enter the non-league contest with a 4-19 record. In their last contest, Hill City was tipped by Trego (WaKeeney, KS), 2-1, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Dragons face the Smoky Valley Vikings (Lindsborg, KS) in a Central Kansas test, on Tuesday, September 30. Halstead will attempt to improve on its 16-4 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 9-11 record after their 2-0 league loss to Hesston (Hesston, KS).
