In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Pymatuning Valley Lakers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Harding Skippers.

The Lakers (8-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Mathews (Vienna, OH). The Mustangs come into the Northeastern challenge with a 7-12 record. In their last challenge, Mathews was beaten by St. John (Ashtabula, OH), 3-0, in a league test.

The Skippers now own a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardinal for a Northeastern test on Thursday, October 2. Harding will play a Huskies team coming off a 3-1 league win over Grand Valley (Orwell, OH). The Huskies record now stands at 19-1.
